Something's Up- Screenprinted poster by Will Pearce
Could you tell us about the work you will be showing during this year's E17 Art Trail?
We will be showing woodblock and screen printed posters, letterpressed artists books, drawings and paintings.
Don't Worry- Woodblock poster by Spike

How have you been preparing for this year's trail?
We have all been working away like maniacs making new work and preparing the studio.

Could you tell us about an an artist/ artwork that  particularly inspires you?
Personally I love Otto Dix, Goya, Basquiat, Raushenberg and many more!

How does inhabiting a community like Walthamstow help your practice?
Enormously! We have all been so welcomed in the area, and utilize a vast pool of resources, consisting mainly of artists we have met through previous art trails!

What are you most looking forward to during the E17 Art Trail this year ?
Relaxing in our (hopefully) sunny courtyard, sipping tea and meeting new people.

I'd recommend visiting Spike and all the artists at Walden Studios, 95a Lynmouth Road. (No 74 on the E17 Art Trail 2014).

Spike converted this special space himself, and it's now a significant Walthamstow creative hub for aspiring artists, including Hannah Battershell and Will Pierce.
