Start the E17 Art Trail off creatively - be a part of it! On the first Saturday of the Art Trail, 3 September, from 11am to 3pm the Waltham Forest Arts Club is hosting an afternoon of drawing in the Vestry House Museum Gardens. Bring your or sketchbook or iPad or use the pencils and paper provided (kindly donated by Jackson's Art Supplies), find yourself a spot in the garden and draw! Come meet some friendly creative people. The garden’s beautiful planting is inspired by its history as an eighteenth-century workhouse garden, with an emphasis on useful plants including vegetables, herbs and dye plants. There is also a wild meadow area and a bed designed to attract butterflies.
