"Agree with some people that 10 days it just not long enough to see all the art created in E17! My favourite so far was a taste of Amanda Doidge’s ceramics on Sunday that left me wanting more. She takes something ordinary and homely, like a delicate tea cup, erodes it down and reconstructs a new thing that is almost animalistic in feel.
A set of teacups like dark unfurled leaves sit waiting for someone to pour them some magical brew; while what looks like a paper tea light holder is in fact translucent paper thin porcelain impressed with an old type face near the rim.
You will look at your kitchen dresser in a new light after seeing her work..........
