The Magnificent Magical Drawing Machine

Kirsten and Elaine remind us that there is quite the invention at the E17 Art House on the weekends:

The Magnificent Magical Drawing Machine, a booth where you can have your portrait drawn, first appeared outside E17 Art House (E17 Art Trail venue 77) last Saturday, and proved to be a huge hit with adults, children and er... dogs (well-behaved) who came to experience this wonder of modern science.

It is operating every weekend during the E17 Art Trail. Experienced Drawing Machine engineers are at hand to control the complex machinery inside the booth, and sitters receive their finished portraits in a sliding tray in about 10 minutes.

E17 Art House will be packed full of family fun this weekend, especially Sunday. There will be activities including:

Free children's drop-in printmaking 12-3pm, The Wandering Scribe writing calligraphy letters for children and colour Flip-book-making, The Magnificent Magical Drawing Machine operating from 11am-3pm and its a chance to meet the exhibition artists Kirsten Schmidt and Robert M Ball.

I will be most definitely be visiting this Sunday and do try and come.Find an easy map on their website:  www.e17arthouse.com/visit-us
